Greenhous Group has strengthened its technical and sustainability expertise with the appointment of Lee Caton as Truck Group Sales Engineer & EV/Sustainability Lead, a role he took up in October 2025.

Lee Canton’s transition from DAF to Greenhous Group has been smooth and insightful. Getting to know the Greenhous way of working has been a positive experience, and he is keen to build on this by bringing his experience from DAF into his new role.

Supporting sales teams across North West Trucks, Greenhous and Adams Morey, Lee provides specialist technical guidance across the full truck portfolio – from traditional internal combustion vehicles through to zero-emission and electric HGV solutions. His role is designed to ensure that customers receive vehicle specifications and applications that are right first time, supporting long-term operational performance, compliance and serviceability.

Working closely with both sales teams and customers, Lee plays a key role in bridging the gap between sales, engineering and real-world operation. His responsibilities range from reviewing legislation and conducting EV route simulations to spending time in the workshop diagnosing and resolving technical challenges. This hands-on approach helps ensure that recommendations are not only technically sound but also practical and sustainable in day-to-day use.

A central focus of Lee’s role is supporting informed decision-making as operators navigate the transition towards lower-emission transport solutions. By combining technical expertise with a clear understanding of customer applications, he helps businesses adopt new technologies with confidence.

For Lee, the most rewarding part of the role is supporting people. “Helping someone solve a problem, make a confident decision, or simply knowing they have someone they can turn to for advice is what I enjoy most,” he says.

He adds that Greenhous Group’s scale, trust and flexibility allow him to support multiple sites effectively while remaining accessible to both teams and customers.
